P.E.A.C.E Camp Mission and Philosophy

Mission

Our mission is to develop and prepare youth for true “Independent Living” providing adolescents with a realistic understanding of how societal systems work (meaning young people receive training in areas that are vital to youth that are preparing to integrate into society).

Philosophy

We believe that through the P.E.A.C.E. Program, the adolescent can develop and continue to grow into a "whole" person and become a productive member of the community and society.

Camp Information

The P.E.A.C.E. camp experience will expose adolescents in to vital areas that they will be expected to know and understand as adults within our community and society. The camps will focus on Independent Living skills based on the P.E.A.C.E. Concept.   Each camp will have focus groups, speakers and field trips that reinforce the concept. 

In the PEACE camp, PEACE has several different meanings!
